What kind of audio equipment I need?
I recently bought 2 headphones Sennheiser hd555 and need to know how to improve sound quality. I currently attach them to my digital receiver home theater with a divider. My PS3 and all my other computers are connected with optical cables to my receiver. Is there an amplifier with an optical input that can use or is there something else I can do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
The headphones are stereo, not DD 5.1. Optical Cable is capable of Digital 5.1 and digital stereo. You could connect the headphones to the headphones' output of your amplifier. Most of them have one. You can buy an amplifier with optical input and stereo headphone output, but what really needs that?
