Does anyone know how or where to find a way to fix a home theater in a box Audiovox?

It will run a DVD for a few minutes then the power to turn it off. If I run anything through it for the surround sound (ie a video game system), it turns off almost immediately. Does anyone else has had this problem? I had the thing for about 2 years and that started happening a few weeks ago.

It sounds like you have a short. Verify that all cables are connected to the terminals and there is no short circuit with each other or with other metal parts. You may also want to disconnect a cable at a time and see if the problem disappears. If it does, then that wire is shorted and should only be replaced.
