What is the difference between a business and a projector home theater projector?
First, recognize that there is no distinction formal and in many cases a HT projector can be used for business use, business or projector used for HT purposes. It's more a matter of strengths and weaknesses. Projectors HT put less emphasis on portability (most business projectors are well below 7.8 pounds (3 kg), while HT projectors are often more 10 and sometimes more than 20 pounds (9kg)) and more video processing (better scrapers, etc..) business projectors tend to be brighter (> 1500 Lumens vs. <1500 lumens), more likely to be 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 (almost universal for projectors HT) have contrast ratios low (<1000:1), can be more noisy fans (> 28dB vs <28dB for use HT). HT Projectors greater emphasis on the contrast ratio, video processing and color accuracy, and connectivity (eg, 2 HDMI, component, VGA, composite and S-video).
