What should I do my cable TV, home theater system, cable box and video? I have everything except the connected VCR.?
I want the VCR for recording and playback. my cable line in goes to the cable box and all works great with the DVD home theater system and TV sound through speaker, but I want to add the VCR for recording. You may have to resort to getting a DVR system.
VCR you must have a cable in Run cable box, VCR. Then run component cables (yellow white red) to the TV to the VCR. Plug your DVD player or on the inputs VCR (if one exists) or television. If your TV has componant output ports, run the (white and red) in the home theater. If your TV have no where to run audio (red white) componant of the VCR (if your DVD player is connected to it) to the theater system.
