projector for home theater?

I'm thinking of getting a projector for my laptop to show movies on the wall of a small apartment. Epson PowerLite S5 seems reasonable. All entries? Moreover, I worry about the electricity bill. using a projector is expensive utility bills?

I would not recommend the PowerLite or multimedia presentation projector for home theater. You will be much better off buying a home theater projector. Projectors media are very bright, but blacks tend to have terrible and sub par video processing. The end result is an image washed with tons of motion artifacts. Home theater projectors are designed for watching movies. You can spend a similar amount of money and get a good home theater projector. I personally recommend Panasonic PT-AX100U. Black is very bright, and video processing is very good and solid. Panasonic models also remove the screen door effect that is the Achilles heel of most LCD projectors. Epson makes a good home theater projectors and if partial to Epson.
