High End Home Theater System

I'm looking to upgrade my home theater system, I want to be a great crisp clear sound low and high volume, I want a 7.1 system 3 front side 2 2 rear 1 sub, if ound this system at Circuit City Onkyo http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid = 148,967 & c = 1, If anyone has knowledge about this type of professional team and tell me if this is a good system or just the shitty low-end version of a system of 7.1, also have a 7.1 THX certified system thats almost double the price http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/157634/catOid/-13325/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do, What is the difference between them, and how significant the difference is?

I have this system is the HT-S790 7.1 It can handle the bass award. The receiver is the quality of the past and it is.
