Home Mtx Speaker System Theater

How much power do I need for my receiver?

Hi, this may be a stupid question, but how can I connect my home theater system speakers on the back of my truck? I have 4 x 12 "MTX and 1 amp of 400W. This amplifier has a wall socket and I have a converter for my car you can put into the cigerette lighter and converts it into an outlet. Can my 12v cigerette lighter power of my system? or is there another way to do this? I now have 3 subs 12 inch in my truck falls injuries, but not so low that its cut my middle and high for me and my friends make fun of the speakers from my concert in the bed of my truck and is this possible?

The 2-wire insignificant little a cigarette lighter adapter is not going to be able to provide enough current. That amplifier 400 watts with a wall socket is designed for 120VAC. In this tension, simply call 3 or 4 amps. to 12 V it needs to attract more than 30 amps. Most of cigarette lighter plugs melt less than that.
