My center speaker produces a sound static? How do I dispose of it?

I have a SC-PT960 Panasonic home theater with wireless rear speakers. I have got my game consoles conencted to my Sony KDL-40V4100 via HDMI, then out to the theater through homt optics. Only my center speaker has a static, hum. How I can help? or at least what can be causing?

1.) Check the speaker wires running from the speakers to your receiver. Check both the connections at the end of speaker and receiver and also look for breaks along the cord (my cats tend to bite in mine). You can look at replacing the speaker cable to make sure that there is a short anywhere. 2.) If it still speaker static then it may have been cast will be replaced.
