Help with home theater design speaker box.?
Ok, I'm looking to build an impressive home theater system with car audio speakers. I have 2 Alpine Type R subwoofers and 4 to 6.5 round of speakers with amplifiers and all. What is beyond all that is beautiful speakers I plan to use the walnut. All buildings can do. What I find difficult is to find the dimensions, Qts, DP, Xmax and everything to get the optimal design box. What size port to use …… etc. I like to build four squares of the rounds and now 6.5 subwoofer box. If someone with this knowledge could help me please I would appreciate greatly. Take a look this software: http://www.ajdesigner.com/speaker/index.php addition, you can get others, do a search for "box speaker design" I would like to discourage you, but ultimately would cost more than doing it yourself, if you buy a good system, but low cost. If you find satisfaction in do it yourself, then go! speakers designed for vehicles are not the most suitable for home, but they are well. Besides the design of the box, you should have the right cross credits, but may already have them. A 5.1 receiver can have products that may not be suitable to drive the car speakers, but perhaps it would be nice, I just know that this may be the case. Different speakers have different sensitivity, so some require more power than others to produce the same acoustic output. In a 5.1 system all are equal.
