Does anyone have any personal experience with the HP Digital Entertainment Center?

He wonders if s comes with everything you need to be a complete home theater and / or personal computer. Warranty information would be great, defects or complications, and any other information!

I used the DECS 558 and 565 systems. They are well designed for home theater that goes a long way towards eliminating the complications. It can operate in standalone mode with speakers amplified, but I always use a good surround sound processor, as the Yamaha RX-V3800, for example. Allowing greater flexibility of the speakers. The only problem up is now a dead power supply and one crashed hard disk of several units in the field.
