business projector versus a home theater projector? Is there that much of the difference in black levels?
I budget about 500-600 for project and about 100 for the screen. I can afford a 2000 projector. ViewSonic PJ506D An SVGA (800×600) 4:3 / 16:9 projector 2,000 lumens of business is 500 with a free mail screen and mount offer. An InFocus IN72 WVGA (852×480) 900 lumens projector for home theater is about as reformed without extras. I have read I really should get a home theater projector rather than a business projector like the 506D, but the lumens scares me. I am projecting a 80 "screen with blinds and curtains closed. no lights. still some ambient light. What will be better. I'm going to use a DVD player very nice, Wii and PC for home theater. Lack of interest HD DVDs for atleast 3-4 years when I'll update this problem anyway.
I am confused with your question. Are you saying that you can afford projector, $ 2,000 or can not afford? Try using a home theater projector if possible. Business projectors are not designed for movies. Only available Presentation slides and a small movie clip. Now you can get a decent Epson projector that is around $ 3500 Canadian dollars with a discount $ 300 right now. I think the model is the Epson 1080. Epson makes a decent projector. I have personally seen the Epson 1080 and it does a great job on the big screen. There is also some decent screen everything. I think you should display more available however. Try to think of $ 1,000 a screen. Draper them a decent screen will serve you well. On the other hand also can be painted matt white wall and it should work well. You can try searching the goo "-these things are supposedly able to act as a screen.
