Need help connecting Insignia home theater to my Westinghouse LCD.?
I have a 47 "Westinghouse LCD flat screen and want to connect my home theater INSIGNIA brand system. I'm sure that will be used for speaker connections on the TV. Main Draw of the Insignia also has a DVD player built When I plugged the speakers in. I could not make the sound and then some sound but no picture. He played the DVD as a CD. I think I have the cables in place wrong. Please help!
There are many ways to do this but I'll give a brief installation that can help. You need to run a set of cables video of your logo to the back of your TV via composite, component, s-video or HDMI. So if you want TV sound through your Insignia speakers will then have to run RCA audio cables from audio output of your TV to the back of the unit of Insignia.
