Help with my LCD TV … Please read!?
Well, I have a LG 32 inch LCD. When I see a widescreen movie or television program I have trouble getting to fill the entire screen. If I use the 16:9 image is stretched and does not make the bars disappear. (I realize that some things that are filmed in aspect ratios that are in a wider format, and black bars will still be present no matter what – this is NOT the case). If I started to ZOOM, fills the entire screen, however you cut a little at the top and bottom (this remains the widescreen image, not a full-screen program undoubtedly reduce image). What I know is how to get the picture to fit my screen without cutting or stretching. I can not bear to see people stretched … I like correct proportions. Also, when I zoom, makes the image blurry than it should be, and that is annoying. Any help would be wonderful. I'd love to use my TV as much measure.
What is the source for you on TV? Are you using a cable or satellite, or a DVD player? The adjustment should be 16:9 in these components, not on TV. Are you sure you are using high-definition connections (HDMI or component)? Anything else is not HDTV and not fill the screen. If it's happening in HDTV broadcasting received by the internal tuner in the series, something is wrong with the set. However, a non-issue of a high-definition mode mailbox will have bars on the left and right, top and bottom. You can zoom it to fill the screen, but will become blurred.
