Denon is a good choice for a home theater amplifier?
I will buy to replace my Insginia amp 2 years old, whose right surround channel turned off after a power surge! found one more in the section of Best Buy Magnolia Home Theater at about $ 350, which supports up 7.1 channel surround sound and supports HDMI for the PS3.
Denon is excellent and will be a big step from Insignia (that is, more or less a cheap store brand). Other brands to entertain: Yamaha Onkyo Harman / Kardon Marantz Sony ES (not to be confused with regular Sony) Pioneer Elite (not to be confused with regular Pioneer) I personally as Sony ES (Elevated Standard), they have an excellent performance and are one of the few that have a standard 5-year parts and labor for their products. Without But you may have to go to a specialty store Hi-Fi or check out Crutchfield, Tweeter, or a Sony store, as I do not think Sony ES is available in Best Buy the Magnolia department.
