Wii DVD player and plasma without changing the cables?

I do not know much about TVs so any help is appreciated. I a DVD player and a Wii console running on my NEC plasma. We constantly have to swap cables (red, yellow, white) on the TV for them because I know how to make both connected to TV and running if possible. They are running in AV, so it is possible to have two AVS. I am desperate, please help. When the source I press them, but do not know what they mean. Can anyone help? .. Please? While a video switch would work, I prefer to improved connection to either your Wii or DVD player (both if you can). Red, white and yellow cables do not allow the best possible image of your DVD player or Wii. On your Wii, I like to have the component video cable. This will give better quality of video of what we have now. While the example link I give you is Amazon, component video cable can be picked up anywhere on Wii sold. You hook this to their component connections 1 and Component 2. (This is the type of connection I use for my Wii to my Panasonic plasma set). I would go with it and also give the best possible analog signal. If by chance your DVD player has HDMI then you might want to consider HDMI. I have a DVD player conversion up that has HDMI, so I use that for video and audio. However, my previous DVD player component video was just what I used to have it connected that way.
