New home theater, Panasonic sc ht740?
I am interested in getting a Panasonic SC ht740 home theater. However, the salesman told me that only receive surround sound DVD's, and my normal TV viewing would only be in stereo (front speakers only). Is this true or is there a way connecting the components so that I will get surround sound from both? I have an HDTV and local cable service (HD programming). Is there any other way remote Boot inexpensive home theater systems anyone would suggest?
He's right there is no digital audio input on the unit. But <$ 200 for a surround sound system? You get what you pay. I will include a configuration that you should consider a system I would consider low end boot. But we know that the best results come from a separate installation program.
