What is the difference between LCD and plasma monitor?
1. Plasma and LCD technology – What is the difference? Plasma & Panels LCD may look similar, but the flat screen and thin profile is where the similarities end. Plasma screens, as its name implies, uses a matrix of plasma cells tiny gas charged by precise electrical voltages to create an image. LCDs (liquid crystal display) are in layman's terms sandwiches made up of liquid crystal pushed into the space between two glass plates. The pictures are made by different amount of electrical charge applied to the crystals.
