Plasma TV, which is better?
IM PN50B550 looking at buying the Samsung or the Panasonic TC-P50U1. both are 50-inch 1080p plasmas. both are similarly priced. I can not find any information on the Samsung PN50A550, but not the B550. I really like Samsung, but Im looking for some information from some videophiles by there that can compare the two for me. in the note, thanks in advance: this will be a secondary television. I do not know why these idiots here are saying go LCD and plasma will be extinguished, that I would recommend a Panasonic, I bought a $ 1,200 Panasonic Viera 1080p and motion is and the refresh rate and contrast are much higher in lcd, plasma from my 1200 dollars has exceeded to 4000 dollars LCD made by Samsung and Sony LCD bravia.Also are advertising companies marketing expensive LCD refresh rate of 120Hz and 240Hz just for smoother motion, and my plasma is 600 Hz and the average plasma of about 480Hz to 600Hz which means that the LCD can not keep up with refresh rate of a plasma, a plasma is also 10 times faster time pixel response of the best LCD models today, that is, you will see LCD TV always blurry for sports and fast motion, whereas my Panasonic plasma HD image is razor sharp, even during the basketball games are faster and cheaper. The reason the LCD TV is more expensive because the costs of manufacturing company more money to build LCD TV plasma TV, but still I prefer the return on manufacturing costs.
