Should I get a Samsung LN46A650 LCD or plasma Samsung PN50A650. Both are the same price, but the plasma is 4 inches larger! The only drawback for me would be 120 hz.

First, if you have children small near the TV or are prone to wild parties at night, I'd say the plasma as the display can be much more abuse than an LCD. Each has its pros and cons, for example: – Pros – LN46A650 * Dynamic Contrast Ratio 50,000:1 extraordinary rendition decent black and white (white can sometimes be antique white color, but can be adjusted to minimize) * Power consumption approximately 240 watts (which of four lamps 60 W!) * Light weight (75 pounds) * * Do not burn at 120Hz, which largely coincides with the plasma display clarity.
