I am thinking of buying a TV at Overstock.com is renewed. Is it safe?
I want to buy an LCD TV from Philips. There is a 2 year warranty optional, should I buy that too? They are factory refurbished product as good as buying new?
Overstock is a reliable company, you get what you pay for. I have used several times without problems at all. A guarantee of a major purchase is usually a good idea. The cost of repair can often be as much as a new machine. If that happens, you will begin to yourself if you do not. Some refurbished products are good enough to buy, others are not.
