Double French horn French horn triple?

I am a dedicated French Horn player, and I'm thinking of buying a French horn. I'm receiving a single horn, so at first I thought it would have a double horn, because one of the octave, however, I learned that there is a horn TRIPLE. Instead of having only the F and B-flat capabilities of dual Horn, also has an added value F or flat, making it much easier to play the notes higher and lower. But it costs 5K more than our 54in plasma TV. Twice, on the other hand, the cost 3K, or 2.5 k. I also have a source-the friend of my grandmother, that is the availability of discounts because of their work. I do not know about triple doubles but is sold, and I can get up to 1k off! I wonder if this was true penalty to achieve the triple during the marriage (only take valid sources of people who actually research, or have some reference, not people they just decided after reading this) the triple horn has only a second or thumb valve valve Pinky

I am a professional player Horn French with experience of over 20 years. Unless you are a first chair player in a professional orchestra that you might not need a triple. They can be much heavier than a double depending on the manufacturer and after a long day of testing do not always want to have more weight than you have to especially if you play outside leg. They do not help with the bass notes at all as the top f launched an octave above the normal F and lower scores in the top are very cash f sound. Actually, they do the high notes easier. You still need to be able to pitch and play the higher notes. What it does is make it a little safer as harmonics are so close together. There is a trade off the sound of high f is usually much lighter than in the Horn of Bb. In many triple and double Descants Bb side seems to be a bit dodgy. Alexander usually use a double track in my work (I am 3 Horn is, a player high). Rarely out of my double Alexander Descant (Bb / high F). I will use for contemporary music, where the composer has written pieces for the insane horn without an understanding of the horn. Here, the horn sound feature is not as important as making music as you write sounds reasonable accuracy. I will use my lecture on Baroque music as necessary, (Bach – Christmas Oratorio (entries in principle would topdir C) or more high twisted Cantatas. Strangely last time I played the 1st Brandenburg 1 horn I played in a dual, high twisted Haydn symphonies) and the twisted Mozart occaisional high. I may need the Descant (high f) maybe once a year. In Music Romantic hate when a player uses the high-f side, as the horn tone trumpet is all fine and undermine the power of music. Listen to the Vienna Philharmonic to play in single F horns and comparing it with another orchestra. The sound they produce has a special magic to it in the big tutti passages aloud. Another orchestra will remain a great sound, but perhaps something is lost, and if one player uses a high-f side you can hear. the overall sound is simply losing the fullness and tone. Ultimately only a threefold is useful to a professional and although some games as long as they very rarely use the high-f side. If you are a younger player's weight could cause physical problems. Get a good double. Look for a top of the range of instruments (eg, Alexander, Paxman, Lewis, Lawson, Yamaha 667VS, Schmid are becoming popular in some parties) should always seek the test instrument of a professional reputation before buying as the perpetrator, even higher have unexploded ordnance. There are a lot small boutique manufacturers worth looking at in the U.S. as Sorley or De Haro and Atkinson, and other European manufacturers. The overall quality of these instruments is best that mass production Holton, or a new Conn (8D older people have a good reputation, but I'm not a driver 8D so can only go on what they have said.) Hope that this helps you.
